Precinct 2 deputies stumbled upon a tangled web of deceit lurking in a Cheech and Chong car hanging out in the parking lot.

On March 28, 2026, at approximately 3:58 PM, Deputy O. Cartlidge and Deputy J. Bailey were dispatched to the 19400 block of the Gulf Fwy in reference to a female using fake IDs to obtain cell phones. Deputies found numerous Texas Driver’s Licenses with the same picture but different identifying information. They also found credit cards and Social Security cards with different names. Along with the fictitious documents, they discovered several cell phones, an iPad, and a small amount of marijuana. The suspects were identified as 26-year-old Diamond Clegg, 34-year-old Deontae Hammond, and 21-year-old Jayden Cunningham.
