Solarium, pickleball lounge in Houston’s Midtown, closes after less than a year

A Midtown lounge that meshed pickleball and padel with a restaurant and bar scene has shut down on Holman Street after less than a year in business.

Solarium — a restaurant, bar and patio with six pickleball and padel courts — appears to have permanently closed in the last month or so, according to its social media pages. The venue opened last spring in place of the former Holman Draft Hall with 9,000 square feet of space.
