HOUSTON — Houston police have charged a 24-year-old man with murder in connection with the death of Ashanti Allen, a 23-year-old pregnant woman whose body was discovered Thursday morning at Chimney Rock Park near West Belfort after she had been missing for a week.
Kevin Faux faces a murder charge and remains at large. Investigators identified Faux as the father of Allen’s unborn child and charged him in connection with her death. A booking photo of Faux from September 2025 has been released by authorities.
Allen, who was eight months pregnant with her first child, had been missing since the previous Thursday. Her body was found around 9 a.m. near a bayou with the help of Texas EquuSearch. Her cause of death is pending an autopsy…
