A Baytown father accused of killing his 7-week-old baby last July is set to appear in court Monday.
Christopher Leon Jenkins, 26, is charged with capital murder in the death. Charges were filed Friday and he was arrested over the weekend, Harris County court records show.
On July 25, 2025, first responders were called to an apartment at 2500 East James Ave. in Baytown for a report of a newborn choking or not breathing.
