Father dies after deputies find him in teen son’s chokehold in Katy, sheriff says

A man died after deputies found his teen son gripping him in a chokehold in a Katy neighborhood Tuesday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies encountered the father and son after responding to a family disturbance call at 3:43 a.m. in the 21400 block of Sagrantino Court near Clay and North Mason roads, according to a social media post by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The man was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead, the post states.
