HOUSTON – A routine traffic stop escalated into a major narcotics investigation that led to the seizure of over 1,000 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in a trailer and at the suspect’s home, according to law enforcement officials.
During the stop, investigators reported that they discovered approximately 396 kilograms (or 873 pounds) of meth hidden inside a false compartment of a trailer.
