2,000 gallons of sewage spill into Laguna Beach waters, prompting closure

Health officials have issued an ocean water closure at Thalia Beach in the city of Laguna Beach following a 2,000-gallon sewage spill.

On July 2, around 2,000 gallons of sewage spilled into the waters due to a malfunction of a force main sewer line pump, the OC Health Care Agency said.
