The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine will host the Summer Park Celebration at Marina Vista Park on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the reopening of a portion of the park that has been closed to support the Colorado Lagoon Open Channel Project.
“The Colorado Lagoon Open Channel Project has been many years in the making, and we are excited to commemorate this milestone on the path to the project’s completion later this year with the reopening of Marina Vista Park,” said Mayor Rex Richardson.
