Small’s Smash Club, a restaurant located along the Pacific Coast Highway, was vandalized last week after a dispute between the staff and an elderly neighbor.
On Wednesday, Aug. 12, after the business was closed, a neighboring resident broke onto the patio and ripped out the wiring from every outdoor ambient speaker. The incident, according to Owner Jordan Small, comes after disagreements regarding the noise the business makes during the day.
“I’ve been just an open book of communication,” he said. “I’ve been going out of my way to make sure they’re comfortable… They tell me one thing to my face and then turn around and then go to the city crying about something.”…
