CARSON – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision between a big rig and a black sedan near the Carson Weigh Station in Carson, authorities said Saturday. California Highway Patrol officers were called at around 11:24 p.m. Friday to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near the weigh station between Avalon Boulevard and Main Street where they found the victim, according to CHP Officer Sergio Garcia.
