Believe it or not, there are still a ton of top-notch free agents on the market. It seems your Los Angeles Dodgers have signed them all, and although you wouldn’t be wrong, there are some players on the market L.A. could still use.
One of them still on the free agent market is a utility player Kiké Hernández . Hernández has yet to sign with a team this winter, and a reunion with the Boys in Blue could be in the cards. However, other teams would love to sign Hernández, like L.A.’s freeway rival, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reported the Halos are interested in signing Hernández, but he may prefer a return in Dodger blue.
The Angels continue to show interest in free agent Kiké Hernández, but fear he prefers a return to the Dodgers, according to a source briefed on the team’s discussions.
The Dodgers’ freeway rivals desperately need infield help, and Hernández would certainly bolster that position. The Angels could use Hernández’s defense, but so could the Dodgers.
