The Cannery Newport Beach is a seafood restaurant. It is part of the family of restaurants which include El Cholo and Louie’s By The Bay.
The restaurant was opened over twenty years ago by the Salisbury family in a historic building which was The Cannery for 100 years. It is located at 3010 Lafayette Road in Newport Beach, California.
After the Cannery closed, the property went back and forth. Jack Croul, a local resident wanted to restore the building and preserve its history. Jack purchased the property from developers for much more than the asking price. He connected with Ron Salisbury, and The Cannery restaurant came into being.
The Cannery has received rave reviews from customers. They have received awards and honors of recognition from the community.
