Five Vines Wine Bar to Replace Vino Volo

Next year, travelers passing through OC’s John Wayne Airport will be able to enjoy sips and bites at Five Vines Wine Bar. OC Register reports the concept will be taking over the space where Vino Volo currently operates by the end of 2025.

Five Vines Wine Bar is a true local family business, Founded by Randy and Suzy with their three sons. The company has a San Juan Capistrano store known for its cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating. This airport shell will be a 1,722-square-foot space.

Renowned for its extensive selection, the brand has over 65 boutique wines and a variety of craft beers. It was featured in Travel + Leisure Magazine’s list of the 25 Best Wine Bars in the U.S. The concept also has a menu of offerings including gourmet sausages, fresh paninis, and hearty cheese plates.

This addition is part of a larger 15-year contract awarded to HMSHost, a leading food-service company that operates dining concepts at airports globally. The contract also includes the introduction of other popular local spots like Chaupain Bakery, Left Coast Brewing, and Wahoo’s Fish Taco.
