Three men allegedly robbed and killed a 68-year-old tourist outside a Newport Beach mall with the victim and suspects identified by police Wednesday. Patricia McKay, who was visiting from New Zealand, was walking just outside the Fashion Island mall near Santa Rosa Drive and Newport Center Drive with another person just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when two men allegedly approached them and tried to rob them – one of the suspects allegedly armed with a handgun, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.
