Princeton Nicholas Jones, 9, died from a gunshot wound in Los Angeles on November 30. The following day, police arrested his father, Nicholas Jones, 32, and charged him with his son’s murder. The deadly shooting reportedly occurred at Princeton’s grandfather’s home in Compton. Now his mother wants justice for her son.
Creole Green created a GoFundMe account and wrote that her son was a beacon of joy whose life ended “far too soon.” Investigators are trying to determine what led to the deadly shooting.

Police responded to a call about a person shot.
According to CBS News, deputies from Compton Sheriff’s Station arrived at the scene in the 15000 block of South Haskins, around 7:30 p.m. November 30. Deputies found Princeton unresponsive in the backyard. Officials pronounced him dead on the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. ABC 7 reported that police looked at Nicholas Jones as a suspect .
