(KTLA) – Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left a woman hospitalized in Long Beach.
On Dec. 26 at about 4:45 p.m., Long Beach police responded to a crash at the intersection of California Avenue and San Antonio Drive.
The male suspect was driving eastbound on San Antonio Drive when it ran the red light and crashed into the victim’s car, police said.
The man briefly stepped out of his car after the crash, but quickly got back in and drove away.
Arriving officers found the female driver injured in her vehicle. She was treated at a local hospital.
The suspect remains at large. His vehicle is described as a tan-colored Toyota Avalon sedan. Surveillance video of the car shows notable front-end damage.
