Police officers responded to a robbery near Greenville St. & St. Gertrude Pl. , where a victim reported being robbed of a gold chain and phone by an armed suspect, according to the SAPD .
The victim provided updates to SAPD Dispatch, helping the police officers to locate the suspect, who had fled on foot and ran into the backyard of a home on W. Central Ave.
