An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 rattled the coastal Los Angeles County area Sunday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey , the quake struck at 8:27 p.m. The epicenter was about 22.99 miles west-southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes, at a depth of roughly 10.9 miles.
There were no initial reports of any damage or injuries.
