Coachella heatwave warning as temperatures expected to be 20 degrees higher than normal

California could be about to experience its first heatwave of the year as temperatures are set to warm up in April.

In parts of Ventura County this week , Wednesday and Thursday look likely to be the warmest with temperatures reaching 15 to 20 degrees above normal.

In local valleys, such as the Ojai and Simi Valley areas, temperatures could reach into the 90s.
