Cloudy conditions will continue across SoCal on Friday, with a low-pressure system expected to drop rain across much of the region by Saturday morning.
Showers could begin in Ventura and Los Angeles counties as early as 5 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, with a chance of some thunderstorms in the mountains of northern Los Angeles County. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms extending south into coastal and valley areas.

Rainfall totals are expected to range from one-third to two-thirds of an inch in most areas, with some parts of western Los Angeles County possibly seeing up to an inch, forecasters said.
