OCC Children’s Center downsizing further contributes to the Orange County ‘childcare desert’

Orange Coast College student parents and faculty members are still shocked at the school’s decision to reduce and downsize the Harry and Grace Steele Children’s Center.

Officials said the decision was made to reduce the facility’s projected budget deficits of approximately $700k.
