Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was joined by a sea of volunteers and community leaders for the Shine LA event aimed at revitalizing Downtown L.A. Following recent damage due to escalated federal raids, the gathering symbolized a collective effort to mend and uplift the city’s core. According to a statement from Mayor Bass, “The fear felt by so many in our city is real, and it’s impacting local businesses, families and neighborhoods.”
The initiative saw participation from various members of the local government and community organizations.
