A stolen vehicle suspect who was leading deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in pursuit while tossing car batteries from the window caused a fiery multi-vehicle crash that injured five people Wednesday evening.
The wanted driver was leading deputies in chase in the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway when they reportedly started tossing out car batteries, adding assault with a deadly weapon to the potential charges they could face.
It’s currently unclear exactly how the crash occurred, but preliminary information suggests that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision, one of which burst into flames…
