The National Weather Service updated its three-day rain totals for a saturated Southern California Friday morning.
Downtown Los Angeles had already received more than 2.5 inches of rain as of Christmas Day, with about another inch forecast to fall on Friday.
Other Los Angeles County Valley locations were above seven inches as of early Friday morning, with some Ventura County mountain regions topping 17 inches.
