City manager shares ideas to help Laguna “get our own house in order”

Laguna Beach’s top staffer shared some ideas last week to help the city “get our own house in order,” including possibly asking the voters regarding a sales tax increase and/or becoming a charter city.

The Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee held their first meeting of 2026 on January 8 with City Manager Dave Kiff as the featured speaker. About two dozen people attended via Zoom.
