Boot Barn Opens 500th Store

Irvine, Calif. — Boot Barn, the largest western and workwear retailer in the nation, has opened its 500th store, located in Huntington Beach, Calif. The milestone location represents a symbolic return to the area as the very first Boot Barn store opened its doors in Huntington Beach in 1978. From that single storefront, Boot Barn has expanded its nationwide presence to 500 stores in 49 states.

“We’re proud and honored to be returning to our roots with the opening of our Huntington Beach store,” says John Hazen, CEO of Boot Barn. “We were founded right here in Southern California, and Huntington Beach will always hold a special place in our hearts thanks to the role it has played in our history. This new store comes at a time of high growth for us and is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come. While we’ve grown a lot at Boot Barn since 1978, our vision remains exactly the same — to share a piece of the American spirit, one handshake at a time.”

The new 12,000-square-foot store is open now, located at 16100 Beach Blvd., close to the Bella Terra shopping center. The store offers a broad selection of western wear, workwear, western-inspired fashion and outdoor gear, alongside personalized services such as boot fittings, boot stretching and complimentary hat shaping. The store also offers free Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store (BOPIS) and a “We Have It Promise” (WHIP), which ships items that are out-of-stock in the store directly to customers’ homes with free 2-day delivery…
