A man has honored his late girlfriend’s dream of owning a coffee shop, more than three years after her death.

Tommy Le and Reinne Lim were driving in October 2022, when their car was struck head-on by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the freeway. Lim died at the scene, and Le was left in critical condition, the Long Beach Post reported. (The other driver, Dylan Erric James Robinson, meanwhile, was sentenced in June 2024, jail records show.)
