An elderly woman was critically injured during a second- alarm house fire early Saturday in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers responded about 12:30 a.m. to assist the Long Beach Fire Department with a house fire in the 4600 block of East Goldfield Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
“Upon arrival, Long Beach Fire Department personnel were treating a female adult who had been found unresponsive inside the residence,” according to a police statement. “She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.”…
