Long Beach MemorialCare Medical Center crowned in ‘World’s Best Hospitals’ for eighth straight year

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center has earned recognition on Newsweek’s annual list of the world’s best hospitals for the eighth consecutive year. The ranking reinforces Long Beach Medical Center’s longstanding reputation for clinical excellence and high-quality patient care, they said in a public statement.

On the 2026 list, Long Beach Medical Center ranked among the top 100 hospitals in the United States, top 20 hospitals in California and top five hospitals in the region. Long Beach Medical Center continues to be the only hospital in the greater region, including Lakewood and Los Alamitos, to receive the distinction.
