A Los Angeles police officer was charged with insurance fraud as he is accused of exaggerating an on-duty injury to collect disability benefits, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.
Christopher Brandon Carnahan of Norwalk had initially reported injuring his left elbow while on duty on May 22, 2023.
