At approximately 3:15am on February 28th, 2026, authorities received reports of a motorcycle crashing into a roadside wall on the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 405 at Springdale Street in Westminster.
Witnesses reported the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to impact and veered toward the left lanes after striking the wall. Callers later advised that a person was lying in the roadway, though it was initially unclear if the individual was down in active traffic lanes.
By 3:22am, responding units requested a hard closure of the on-ramp and portions of the mainline lanes to secure the scene. The coroner was notified at approximately 3:21am…
