A 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd named Daisy was brought to OC Animal Allies in crisis after being in labor for two days. She was referred to VEG Costa Mesa, where veterinarians discovered that three puppies were stuck in her birth canal. Sadly, three puppies did not survive, but Daisy and five others were saved thanks to quick action and community support.
While in care, Daisy was also spayed to prevent future complications. The organization thanked the VEG Costa Mesa team for their compassionate care and encouraged donations to the Animal Relief Fund to help other animals in need. Donations can be made at ocanimalallies.org/donate…
