NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 26-year-old man from Adelanto was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a fatal traffic collision in Newport Beach left a pedestrian dead early Saturday morning.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:02 a.m. on February 28, 2026, in the area of Newport Boulevard and 24th Street, police said.
