A 65-year-old man who was fatally struck by an SUV when he ran into lanes of traffic in Long Beach was identified by authorities today.
Francisco Fuentes of Long Beach died in the crash at about 8 p.m. Friday in the area of Del Amo Boulevard and Locust Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
A 2023 Hyundai Tucson was going west on Del Amo when Fuentes ran into the lanes of traffic and was struck by the SUV, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
