(KTLA) – Two friends enjoying a day on the water off the California coast last weekend got an unexpected and unsettling visit from what appeared to be a large shark that took a keen interest in one of them.
The April 25 incident unfolded as Ron Takeda and Tavis Boise were hydrofoiling in the waters off Carpinteria Beach in Santa Barbara County.
