GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The City of Guntersville held a ceremony Monday, where hundreds of people gathered to remember and honor the service members who couldn’t be there.
“It’s Memorial Day, and it is just absolutely special that we need to never forget,” U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Lee Yarberry. “It’s the memory of those that went before and those that we have lost, those that are not with us.”
