Hartselle has exchanged land in the Hartselle Industrial Park for a $50,000 credit from Safe-T-Shelters to go toward building a storm shelter for the city.
“Safe-T-Shelters wanted that area back there to expand its storage area for the storm shelters that they produce,” said Hartselle Development Director Jeremy Griffith. “They’re not building a building on it, its just going to be increased storage space for their products and equipment. Now, they are expanding; they are doing a larger building on some property they already have. That increased the need for this.”
