MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — Nearly nine months after a fire forced dozens out, the Madison Inn is headed for demolition.
Madison Inn & Suites, located at Madison Boulevard and Celtic Drive, caught fire during the early morning hours on August 13, 2025. Authorities had to evacuate the hotel.
The hotel has remained vacant since the fire, and city leaders now say demolition is the next step in addressing the damaged property…
