ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — The mother of a 17-year-old student allegedly groomed by her math teacher at Asbury High School is speaking out about what her daughter has endured following an investigation that closed without criminal charges.
A spokesperson for Marshall County Schools said Kyle Rusk, a math teacher and boys basketball coach at Asbury High School, was fired from his position after the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office closed its investigation, determining the probe did not support criminal charges.
