HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — If you live in Huntsville, do not be surprised if a census worker shows up at your door in the coming weeks.
The U.S. Census Bureau is conducting its 2026 Census Test, a trial run ahead of the 2030 Decennial Census, and Huntsville is one of only two cities in the country selected to participate. More than 81,000 area residents have been asked to take part.
