HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Madison County man is now facing drug charges after trying to run away from officers over the weekend.
On Saturday, around 11 p.m., Huntsville Police Officers tried to stop a man for disorderly conduct. As officers approached the man, he started to run away but was caught shortly after.
HPD identified the man as Horace Chake Harris, 50, of Meridianville. During the encounter with Harris, officers found six bags of methamphetamine, which weighed around 42.65 grams, synthetic marijuana, and fentanyl…
