Four arrested after drugs, guns seized in Decatur home

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. — Four people were arrested after a drug investigation led law enforcement to a Decatur residence where agents say they recovered marijuana, codeine, prescription pills, cash and firearms.

In June 2026, the Morgan County Drug Enforcement Unit and the Morgan County Fugitive Unit began investigating wanted subjects and suspected narcotics activity at a home in the 4800 block of Joe Davis Drive. Investigators later obtained a search warrant based on probable cause developed during the investigation.

On June 3, 2026, agents with both units executed the warrant at the residence. During the search, investigators say they located Dedrick Rashad Moody, 26; Kaleb Isaiah Hightower, 23; Christopher Dashun Lampkin, 25; and Mackenzie Mason, 20, inside the home…
