LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Limestone County and the City of Decatur are teaming up with North Carolina-based Synergy Sports to bring a new regional sports complex to host teams from across the Southeast.
The complex, to be named The Crossroads of the Tennessee Valley, will be located on Highway 20, a mile west of the I-65 Huntsville-Decatur exit. The hope is that the complex will draw in Alabama, Tennessee and the rest of the Southeast.

Along with the sports complex, the plan will also include mixed-use retail, residential, hospitality and family entertainment development for visitors and residents alike.
