Former Madison City Schools superintendent takes new job at Huntsville organization

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Leadership Greater Huntsville has announced that former Madison City Superintendent Dr. Ed Nichols has been named to a key role in the organization.

LGH said Nichols has been named Chief Operating Officer, effective July 1.

The organization said Nichols’ newly created position will oversee LGH’s day-to-day operations, human resources and organizational infrastructure. LGH said Nichols will work closely with CEO Christie Finley to advance the organization’s long-term priorities.
