MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Gulf Coast Challenge is returning to Mobile for its ninth year, bringing Alabama A&M and Jackson State back to Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Danny Corte with the Mobile Sports Authority said the event has been one of the city’s biggest revenue generators.
“The past eight Gulf Coast Challenges have generated an estimated $45 million plus to the local economy with 135,000 attendees over that time,” Corte said.
