NEW MARKET, Ala. (WAFF) – People across north Alabama spent Tuesday cleaning up debris from Monday night’s storm, including residents in New Market.
Emma Stephens, who has lived on Upper Hurricane Road for 12 years, said she had never seen anything like Monday’s storm.
“My kids and I were just sitting in the house and our phones go off. Tornado warning,” Stephens said. “We called my husband and I said, is this real? And he said, yeah, I think it is. Get in the closet.”…
