Weeks after the concert series was postponed, Rock the South ticket buyers are finally learning more about how to get a refund.
The three-day country concert was scheduled in Decatur for June 11-13. Just days before its start, however, organizer Peachtree Entertainment announced excessive rainfall had made the site unsuitable for the event and moved it back to Oct. 1-4, adding a day concert series.
At the time of the cancellation, Rock the South said customers could opt to use their tickets in October or get a refund. Information on refunds would be sent out within a week, they said at the time of the cancellation, but the emails didn’t arrive, leading social media users to question if they would get their money back…
