Former Army Black Hawk pilot manages safe emergency landing at Redstone Arsenal

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A small plane operated by a former Black Hawk pilot made an emergency landing on Redstone Arsenal Thursday due to engine failure.

Redstone Arsenal officials said that a civilian Piper N78 single-engine plane landed successfully after reporting engine failure shortly after takeoff.
