The Eva High School Alumni Association celebrated the nation’s 250th birthday while honoring one of its oldest graduates during its biennial reunion July 3.
This year’s reunion coincided with Independence Day festivities and also recognized James “Zeb” Nelson, a member of the Class of 1947, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday. Nelson is the oldest member of the alumni association.
