Decatur man accused of murdering son acquitted

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) – A Decatur man accused of murdering his son in 2020 was acquitted on Feb. 2, according to WAFF’s newspaper partner the Decatur Daily. Raul Rincon, 61, was charged in the stabbing death of his son, Brandon Rincon, in 2020 following multiple lacerations and stab wounds discovered on him at the time, according to Decatur police. Brandon later died from his injuries after being taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
